Aptura was founded in 2022 after acquisition by Private Equity partner, ThomaBravo. Composed from eight great companies, all acquired over a 3 year period, leadership came to RLD looking for a brand strategy to take the new company forward. After careful consideration and extensive market research, stakeholder interviews with leadership, customers and industry experts, it was clear that the new organization was ripe for change, and thus, after an in depth naming process Aptura was born.
With a new name in place, RLD developed a comprehensive brand and messaging platform that unified disparate positioning and marketing approaches while addressing the evolving needs of their new and existing customers. Products and services were organized into a comprehensive, yet approachable brand architecture that would serve the organization as a road map for future growth and acquisitions. With new brand positioning, we began the visual exploration of the brand identity, ultimately extending the chosen design direction into a system of end-to-end, go-to market customer touchpoints.
